2016년 1월 창간된 《새싹 큐티인》은 미취학 아동을 위해 《큐티인》과 동일한 본문 중 주요 구절로 묵상, 집필된 말씀묵상지입니다.

《큐티인》은 2012년 창간된 후로 지난 10년간 우리들교회에서 수많은 영혼을 구원으로 이끌고, 깨어진 가정을 중수하며, 교회를 부흥시켰습니다. 구속사적 본문해설과 60여 명의 평신도가 집필한 묵상간증 및 다양한 읽을거리를 담은 《큐티인》은 그동안 우리들교회 성도들을 위한 묵상지로 격월간 발행되었으나 해외를 비롯한 외부 정기구독자의 수가 매년 급속히 증가함에 따라 2018년 1,2월 호부터 ‘큐티인 시리즈 4종’을 전국 서점에서 판매하고 있습니다.

또한 큐티엠(큐티선교회)에서는 장년에서부터 청소년, 어린이, 영유아에 이르기까지 모든 세대가 한 말씀으로 날마다 묵상하는 것을 돕고자 2013년에는 《청소년 큐티인》을, 2014년에는 초등학생을 위한 《어린이 큐티인》을 차례로 창간했으며, 여기에도 청소년과 어린이 필자들의 생생한 묵상감증이 실려 있습니다. 그리고 2016년에는 미취학 아동을 위한 《새싹 큐티인》을 창간하여 전 세대가 같은 말씀으로 묵상하도록 돕고 있습니다. 더불어 영어권에 있는 해외 독자들의 수요가 점점 늘어남에 따라 2019년 9월에는 영문판 《QTin》이 eBook으로 월간 발행되었고, 2020년 1월부터는 종이책으로도 발간되고 있습니다.

다음은 2000년에 큐티선교회(QTM, Quiet Time Movement)를 설립해 말씀묵상을 통해 한 영혼을 구원하고, 가정을 중수하며, 교회를 새롭게 하기 위한 운동을 펼쳐나가고 있는 김양재 목사가 큐티인 시리즈를 서점에 내놓으며 발행인 칼럼을 통해 밝힌 글입니다.

From 2012, has led many people to Jesus Christ, restored the broken families, and revived Wooridle Church for last ten years. 《QTin》, issued by QTM(Quiet Time Movement) in 2012, was first a devotional book with a scriptural interpretation based on redemptive history and the personal testimonies of about sixty laypersons of the church. While bimonthly publishing with those testimonies and stories for Wooridle Church members, from January 2018, 《QTin》 4-piece series has been on sale at the public bookstores nationwide due to the increase in subscribers outside the church and even in Korea.

To help all generations to meditate on the Word of God every day, QTM has published 《QTin Teens》 (Korean) in 2013, 《QTin Kids》 (Korean) in 2014, and 《QTin Sprouts》 (Korean) in 2016 with the vivid testimonies from the readers, both kids and parents. Moreover, the increasing number of readers and subscribers from outside Korea, mainly from the English-speaking world, the English 《QTin》 has been published in the form of an eBook since September 2019, and started as a paper book in January 2020.

Next is Publisher’s Notes of Rev. Kim, Yangjae when the first 《QTin》 was on sale at bookstores. In 2000, She began QTM (Quiet Time Movement) to start the movement of meditating the word of God to lead a soul to Jesus Christ, rebuild a broken family, and revive the church.

“1981년 어느 날, 하나님은 제게 큐티로 말씀 묵상하는 방법을 알려주셨어요. 큐티를 통해 저의 더러움과 욕심을 회개하고 제가 겪은 고난을 사람들에게 나누었어요. 하나님은 이런 저에게 ‘말씀묵상 운동을 통해 영혼을 구원하고 가정을 중수하며, 교회를 새롭게 하라’는 사명을 주셨죠. 하나님은 마침내 ‘큐티선교회’를 세우시고, ‘우리들교회’를 허락하셨어요.

“A day in 1981, God taught me how to meditate on His words with doing QT. Through QT, I repented my sin before God and shared the sufferings in my life with people. The deeper I meditate on His words, the clearer I can discern my mission given by God in order to guide souls to Jesus Christ, restore the broken families, and revive the church. At last through me He has found ‘QTM’ and Wooridle Church.

In January 2012, the first 《QTin》 (Korean) for adults was published. Ever since the first 《QTin》, the rest of 《QTin》series has followed: 《QTin Teens》 (Korean) in 2013, 《QTin Kids》 (Korean) in 2014, and 《QTin Sprouts》 (Korean) in 2016. With the series, all generations of the family can read and meditate on Scripture together.

The distinctive characteristic of 《QTin》, which you can read the Bible from the perspective of redemptive history and with many testimonies of laypersons, has been leading many souls to Jesus Christ, restoring the families, and reviving the church. 《새싹 큐티인》은 1~7세 미취학 아동을 위한 큐티지입니다. 따뜻한 그림을 담은 매일의 큐티 본문과 함께 수요일과 주일에는 아이들과 부모님의 생생한 간증이 실려 있습니다. 파릇파릇 돋아나는 ‘새싹’과 같은 영유아들이 부모님과 함께 큐티하며, 크고 푸르른 ‘믿음의 나무’로 자라나도록 돕습니다.

《QTin Sprouts》 is a monthly devotional for preschoolers. Our kids growing and developing their body, mind, and spirit by doing QT with our parents every day. The well-illustrated contents and testimonies both from the parents and the kids will help grow our sprouts to become ‘trees of faith’ which are found every Wednesday and Lord’s Day.

말씀 새싹을 틔워주는 본문해설

《새싹 큐티인》은 《큐티인》과 동일한 성경본문 중 핵심 구절을 뽑아 ‘반짝반짝 말씀 읽기’에 담습니다. 부모님이 읽어주시는 ‘쫑긋쫑긋 말씀 나눔’을 들은 영유아들이 나눔 질문으로 이야기를 나누고, ‘말씀 따라 으쌰으쌰’ 실천하며, ‘두 손 모아 아멘아멘’ 기도하도록 도와줍니다. 따라 쓰기, 만들기, 색칠하기 등의 다양한 활동은 말씀을 즐겁게 적용할 수 있도록 합니다.

Sprouts Grow in the Word

《QTin Sprouts》 uses the key verses in ‘Let’s Read the Word!’ from the main text from 《QTin》, the adult QT magazine. ‘Let’s Open Your Heart!’ helps parents and kids to share questions and thoughts from the reading. ‘Let’s Follow the Word!’ helps kids to grow in God’s word in fun ways such as tracing the words, crafting, and coloring. Today’s QT always closes in prayer which you can find in ‘Amen, Amen! Let’s Pray Together!

신앙 공동체와 함께하는 큐티 놀이터와 활동지

주일마다 실리는 ‘큐티 놀이터’를 활용하여 가정과 교회에서 공동체와 함께 즐겁게 큐티할 수 있습니다. 주일 공과와 가정예배에 활용할 수 있는 ‘큐티 활동지’를 함께 수록하여 인도자와 학습자가 편하게 사용하도록 돕습니다.

신나는 ‘새큐송’과 이번 호의 성경말씀을 담은 ‘새싹 성경 동화’, 이번 호의 큐티 본문을 알려 주는 ‘이번 호 이야기’ 등 다양한 읽을거리를 제공합니다. ‘내 아이를 부탁해’에서는 영유아들의 오감을 이해하고 발달시키기를 원하는 부모님들께 다양한 활동을 소개해드리며, ‘하나님이 키워주셨어요’에서는 큐티하며 육아하는 부모님의 이야기를 들려드립니다. ‘우리 함께 읽어요’에서는 구속사 가치관으로 아이를 양육하는 데 도움이 되는 책을 소개해드립니다.

Variety of Reading Materials for Parents and Kids

We provide many reading materials such as the ‘QT Song’, ‘Story of the Issue’, ‘Sprouts’ Bible Story’ and etc. ‘Sprouts Learn, Love & Laugh’ introduces fun crafts ideas that parents and kids can enjoy. ‘Parenting Guide’ shares the story of parents’ thoughts on parenting and how to apply the word of God in our parenting life. ‘Let’s Read Together is recommending the books that are helpful for our parenting with the redemption history value.

책 속으로

우리 교회는 큐티를 통한 신앙교육을 중요하게 생각해요. 그래서 유치부에서는 매달 ‘큐티 모범 어린이’들을 선정하고 있어요. 다인이도 유치부에 올라오면서 《새싹 큐티인》을 시작했지요. ... 다인이 덕분에 엄마인 저도 날마다 말씀을 가까이하게 되었어요. ‘가족들을 위해서 울어요’(눅 23:28)라는 말씀으로 큐티한 날이었어요. 믿지 않는 가족이 부활하신 예수님을 믿도록 함께 기도하는 활동이었는데, “아빠가 우리와 함께 천국에 가지 못하면 어쩌죠?”라고 묻더라고요. 그래서 그날은 아빠를 위해 함께 기도했어요. 이렇게 다인이는 큐티를 하며 누구를 위해 어떻게 기도해 주어야 하는지 배워 가요. 그리고 말씀과 연결된 활동을 하면서 자연스럽게 말씀에 순종하는 연습을 해요. 지금은 다인이와 둘이서 큐티 나눔을 하지만, 앞으로는 다인이 동생과 아빠까지 네 식구가 함께 모여 큐티를 나누는 날이 오기를 소망해요. 《새싹 큐티인》으로 큐티하는 모든 새싹 어린이가 날마다 말씀으로 자라나길 기도로 응원합니다.

Our church thinks learning about God through daily QT is very important. Every month, we choose special kids who do really well with their QT. When Dain started kindergarten Sunday school, she began using QTin Sprouts. … Because of Dain, I read the Bible more too. One day, Dain read about crying for family members who don’t know Jesus. The activity was to pray for family who don’t believe in Jesus yet. Dain asked, “What if daddy can’t come to heaven with us?” So that day, we prayed together for her dad. This is how Dain learns who to pray for and how to pray through her QT. She also learns to obey God through fun activities. Right now, Dain and I share QT together. But we hope that someday her dad and younger brother will join us too. “저는 요즘 큐티하기가 싫어졌어요. 엄마가 “예훈아~ 큐티하자!”라고 말씀하셔도 “조금만 더 놀고 할게요.”라고 답하고는 큐티를 안 해요. 큐티하는 것보다는 영상을 보거나 카드놀이 하는 게 더 재밌거든요. 오늘도 엄마가 큐티하자고 하셔서 어쩔 수 없이 했어요. 그런데 하나님은 유다 백성이 다시 돌아올 거래요. 그리고 하나님을 다시 찾을 거래요(4절). 저도 큐티하며 하나님을 찾고 하나님께로 돌아가도록 노력해 볼게요.” (6세 임예훈)

- 12월 17일 ‘속닥속닥 큐티 나눔’ 중에서

“I don’t like doing QT these days. Even when mom says “Yehun! Let’s do QT!” I say “Let me play a little more” and don’t do QT. Watching videos or playing card games is more fun than QT. Today mom said let’s do QT, so I had to do it. But God says the people of Judah will come back and look for God again (v. 4). I will try to look for God and go back to God by doing QT too.” (Yehun Im, 6 years old)

“시현이가 큐티에 집중하지 못하던 날이 있었어요. 그날은 색연필을 들고 계속 장난을 쳤죠. 그러다 결국 제 옷에 색연필을 묻히고 말았어요. 큐티할 때 장난치지 말라고 여러 번 말했는데도 이런 일이 발생하니 저도 모르게 시현이에게 화를 냈어요. 그런데 하나님은 시현이가 장난치는 모습도, 제가 야단치는 모습 도 다 듣고 계신대요(36절). 아이를 키우다 보면 힘든 순간이 종종 있지만, 화내지 않고 하나님을 의지하며 인내하는 엄마가 되도록 노력할게요.” (시현이 어머니, 윤지수)

“There was a day when Sihyun couldn’t focus during QT. That day he kept playing around with colored pencils. Then he got colored pencil on my clothes. I told him many times not to play around during QT, but when this happened I got angry at Sihyun without thinking. But God hears both Sihyun playing around and me scolding him (v. 36). When raising children, there are often hard moments, but I will try to become a mom who doesn’t get angry but trusts God and is patient.” (Jisu Yoon, Sihyun’s mom)
