2016년 1월 창간된 《새싹 큐티인》은 미취학 아동을 위해 《큐티인》과 동일한 본문 중 주요 구절로 묵상, 집필된 말씀묵상지입니다.

《큐티인》은 2012년 창간된 후로 지난 10년간 우리들교회에서 수많은 영혼을 구원으로 이끌고, 깨어진 가정을 중수하며, 교회를 부흥시켰습니다. 구속사적 본문해설과 60여 명의 평신도가 집필한 묵상간증 및 다양한 읽을거리를 담은 《큐티인》은 그동안 우리들교회 성도들을 위한 묵상지로 격월간 발행되었으나 해외를 비롯한 외부 정기구독자의 수가 매년 급속히 증가함에 따라 2018년 1,2월 호부터 ‘큐티인 시리즈 4종’을 전국 서점에서 판매하고 있습니다.

또한 큐티엠(큐티선교회)에서는 장년에서부터 청소년, 어린이, 영유아에 이르기까지 모든 세대가 한 말씀으로 날마다 묵상하는 것을 돕고자 2013년에는 《청소년 큐티인》을, 2014년에는 초등학생을 위한 《어린이 큐티인》을 차례로 창간했으며, 여기에도 청소년과 어린이 필자들의 생생한 묵상감증이 실려 있습니다. 그리고 2016년에는 미취학 아동을 위한 《새싹 큐티인》을 창간하여 전 세대가 같은 말씀으로 묵상하도록 돕고 있습니다. 더불어 영어권에 있는 해외 독자들의 수요가 점점 늘어남에 따라 2019년 9월에는 영문판 《QTin》이 eBook으로 월간 발행되었고, 2020년 1월부터는 종이책으로도 발간되고 있습니다.

다음은 2000년에 큐티선교회(QTM, Quiet Time Movement)를 설립해 말씀묵상을 통해 한 영혼을 구원하고, 가정을 중수하며, 교회를 새롭게 하기 위한 운동을 펼쳐나가고 있는 김양재 목사가 큐티인 시리즈를 서점에 내놓으며 발행인 칼럼을 통해 밝힌 글입니다.

From 2012, has led many people to Jesus Christ, restored the broken families, and revived Wooridle Church for last ten years. 《QTin》, issued by QTM(Quiet Time Movement) in 2012, was first a devotional book with a scriptural interpretation based on redemptive history and the personal testimonies of about sixty laypersons of the church. While bimonthly publishing with those testimonies and stories for Wooridle Church members, from January 2018, 《QTin》 4-piece series has been on sale at the public bookstores nationwide due to the increase in subscribers outside the church and even in Korea.

To help all generations to meditate on the Word of God every day, QTM has published 《QTin Teens》 (Korean) in 2013, 《QTin Kids》 (Korean) in 2014, and 《QTin Sprouts》 (Korean) in 2016 with the vivid testimonies from the readers, both kids and parents. Moreover, the increasing number of readers and subscribers from outside Korea, mainly from the English-speaking world, the English 《QTin》 has been published in the form of an eBook since September 2019, and started as a paper book in January 2020.

Next is Publisher’s Notes of Rev. Kim, Yangjae when the first 《QTin》 was on sale at bookstores. In 2000, She began QTM (Quiet Time Movement) to start the movement of meditating the word of God to lead a soul to Jesus Christ, rebuild a broken family, and revive the church.

“A day in 1981, God taught me how to meditate on His words with doing QT. Through QT, I repented my sin before God and shared the sufferings in my life with people. The deeper I meditate on His words, the clearer I can discern my mission given by God in order to guide souls to Jesus Christ, restore the broken families, and revive the church. At last through me He has found ‘QTM’ and Wooridle Church.

In January 2012, the first 《QTin》 (Korean) for adults was published. Ever since the first 《QTin》, the rest of 《QTin》series has followed: 《QTin Teens》 (Korean) in 2013, 《QTin Kids》 (Korean) in 2014, and 《QTin Sprouts》 (Korean) in 2016. 《새싹 큐티인》은 1~7세 미취학 아동을 위한 큐티지입니다. 따뜻한 그림을 담은 매일의 큐티 본문과 함께 수요일과 주일에는 아이들과 부모님의 생생한 간증이 실려 있습니다. 파릇파릇 돋아나는 ‘새싹’과 같은 영유아들이 부모님과 함께 큐티하며, 크고 푸르른 ‘믿음의 나무’로 자라나도록 돕습니다.

《QTin Sprouts》 is a monthly devotional for preschoolers. Our kids growing and developing their body, mind, and spirit by doing QT with our parents every day. The well-illustrated contents and testimonies both from the parents and the kids will help grow our sprouts to become ‘trees of faith’ which are found every Wednesday and Lord’s Day.

말씀 새싹을 틔워주는 본문해설

《새싹 큐티인》은 《큐티인》과 동일한 성경본문 중 핵심 구절을 뽑아 ‘반짝반짝 말씀 읽기’에 담습니다. 부모님이 읽어주시는 ‘쫑긋쫑긋 말씀 나눔’을 들은 영유아들이 나눔 질문으로 이야기를 나누고, ‘말씀 따라 으쌰으쌰’ 실천하며, ‘두 손 모아 아멘아멘’ 기도하도록 도와줍니다. 따라 쓰기, 만들기, 색칠하기 등의 다양한 활동은 말씀을 즐겁게 적용할 수 있도록 합니다.

Sprouts Grow in the Word

《QTin Sprouts》 uses the key verses in ‘Let’s Read the Word!’ from the main text from 《QTin》, the adult QT magazine. ‘Let’s Open Your Heart!’ helps parents and kids to share questions and thoughts from the reading. ‘Let’s Follow the Word!’ helps kids to grow in God’s word in fun ways such as tracing the words, crafting, and coloring. Today’s QT always closes in prayer which you can find in ‘Amen, Amen! Let’s Pray Together!

신앙 공동체와 함께하는 큐티 놀이터와 활동지

주일마다 실리는 ‘큐티 놀이터’를 활용하여 가정과 교회에서 공동체와 함께 즐겁게 큐티할 수 있습니다. 주일 공과와 가정예배에 활용할 수 있는 ‘큐티 활동지’를 함께 수록하여 인도자와 학습자가 편하게 사용하도록 돕습니다.

신나는 ‘새큐송’과 이번 호의 성경말씀을 담은 ‘새싹 성경 동화’, 이번 호의 큐티 본문을 알려 주는 ‘이번 호 이야기’ 등 다양한 읽을거리를 제공합니다. ‘내 아이를 부탁해’에서는 영유아들의 오감을 이해하고 발달시키기를 원하는 부모님들께 다양한 활동을 소개해드리며, ‘하나님이 키워주셨어요’에서는 큐티하며 육아하는 부모님의 이야기를 들려드립니다. ‘우리 함께 읽어요’에서는 구속사 가치관으로 아이를 양육하는 데 도움이 되는 책을 소개해드립니다.

Variety of Reading Materials for Parents and Kids

We provide many reading materials such as the ‘QT Song’, ‘Story of the Issue’, ‘Sprouts’ Bible Story’ and etc. ‘Sprouts Learn, Love & Laugh’ introduces fun crafts ideas that parents and kids can enjoy. ‘Parenting Guide’ shares the story of parents’ thoughts on parenting and how to apply the word of God in our parenting life. ‘Let’s Read Together is recommending the books that are helpful for our parenting with the redemption history value.

우리 가족은 작년에 세종시로 이사를 왔어요. 예전에는 주일만 잘 지키면 된다고 생각했는데, 큐티하는 교회에 다니게 되니 날마다 말씀을 가까이하는 것이 얼마나 중요한지 깨닫게 되었어요. 그래서 온 가족이 《큐티인》을 시작했답니다. … 큐티를 할수록 온 가족이 말씀 안에서 하나 되는 것이 얼마나 큰 기쁨인지 누리게 돼요. 도현이도 이 기쁨을 아는지 ‘쓰임 받는 기쁨(눅 19:38)’을 큐티하며, 예수님을 모르는 친구들에게 예수님을 소개하고 싶다고 하더라고요. 저 또한 더 많은 가정이 하나님 말씀 안에서 기쁨이 가득하길 바라는 마음으로 큐티인 시리즈를 소개하고 있어요. 《새싹 큐티인》과 《큐티인 시리즈》를 통해 더 많은 가정이 하나님 말씀 안에서 기쁨을 누리고 기도하는 가족이 되길 소망합니다.

Our family moved to Sejong City last year. Our family moved to Sejong City last year. Before, I thought going to church on Sundays was enough, but when we started going to a church that does QT every day, I learned how important it is to do QT daily. So our whole family started doing QT together with the QTin books. ... The more we do QT together as a family, the happier we feel and the closer we become through God’s words. Dohyun feels this happiness too. When we read about “The Joy of Being Used (Luke 19:38),” he told me he wants to tell his friends who don’t know Jesus about how wonderful Jesus is. I’m also sharing these QTin sereis with other families so they can have the same joy we have in God’s words. 어린이집에 가면 제 장난감을 빼앗는 친구가 있어요. 친구가 장난감을 빼앗으면 속상해서 어린이집에 가기가 싫어요. 이런 마음을 엄마에게 솔직하게 말하자, 엄마는 저를 위해 기도해 주셨어요. 기도를 하면 용기가 생겨요. 그래서 친구가 장난감을 가져가도 “이따가 놀고 다시 돌려줘~”라고 말하게 돼요. 엄마는 이 용기가 제 마음에 계신 성령님이 주신 힘이라고 하셨어요(행 2:4). 앞으로도 어린이집 가기 전에, 큐티할 때, 성령님이 힘을 주시길 기도할래요. (김선우 어린이, 3세)

At my daycare, there’s a friend who takes my toys away from me. When my friend takes my toys, I feel sad and don’t want to go to daycare anymore. When I told my mom how I felt, she prayed for me. When we pray together, I feel brave and strong. Now when my friend takes a toy, I can say, “You can play with it, but please give it back to me when you’re done!” My mom told me that this brave feeling comes from the Holy Spirit who lives in my heart (Acts 2:4). From now on, before I go to daycare and when I have my quiet time, I will pray that the Holy Spirit will give me power. (Sunwoo Kim, 3 years old)

저는 큐티 시간이 힘들어요. 앉아서 말씀을 듣는 것도 어렵고요. 큐티 시간에도 놀고 싶어서 큐티책뿐만 아니라 자동차, 블록 장난감도 챙겨 와요. 그런데 사울처럼 예수님을 만나고도 싶어요(행 9:5). 엄마는 저에게 “큐티 시간이 예수님을 만나는 시간이란다!”라고 말해 주셨어요. 어떻게 예수님을 만나는 건지 잘 몰랐는데, 앞으로는 큐티 시간을 소중하게 생각할래요. 큐티할 때 장난감을 내려놓고, 놀이보다 큐티를 먼저 할게요. (김권율 어린이, 4세)

Quiet time is hard for me. It’s difficult to sit still and listen to God’s words. When it’s time for QT, I want to play instead, so I bring my QT book along with my toy cars and blocks. But I want to meet Jesus just like Saul did (Acts 9:5). My mom told me, “Quiet Time is when you get to meet Jesus!” I didn’t really understand how to meet Jesus before, but now I want to make quiet time special. When I do my QT, I will put my toys away and do QT before playing. (Gwonyul Kim, 4 years old)
